Can you share more about this and the exact cans you used? Can you supply some pics somewhere?

.

Check this thread . http://www.expeditionforum.com/showthread.php?t=14890 There are lots of pics of my truck and Jeep, and a video, and other guys projects involving Plastdip. I caution you though. Plastidipping is like getting tattoos. Once you do one thing, you get addicted, and pretty soon everything is covered.... Here's another link about dipping.... http://www.expeditionforum.com/showthread.php?t=14783

And here's an updated pic with the wheels and trim all done in plastidip.

And Mudryder did his trim with plastidip too. Here's his..

THX!

Hell I could probably have plastidipped my bumper pad too, it had 2 old paint layers coming off so I just bought a new one.

I also have 2 sets of those CARR II steps that are silver, if I put them on I will def paint them a tough enamel or plastidip.

When this dries and fully cures, how hard is the surface? Does it scratch easily? Has anyone waxed over it or used any other products on it? Does is stand up to a power wash?

OH I"m sorry am I hijacking someone else's thread?

D'OH!

That looks cool...I wonder if I can just spray that over my fusion paint.

I already go the ok from my wife to get the moldings Line-X'd if the paint doesn't hold up.

But that Plasti-Dip looks EASY...er

The side claddings are held on with plastic clips. So if you are careful you can pull them off and paint them. I had all mine professionally painted, same color too.

Anyone know the location of the clips?
Id like to remove mine and have them painted, Id hate to just pull until something pops
