Passenger seat won't recline up

Hi everyone I have a problem with my wife's 2007 expe el. The passenger seat will recline down but won't recline up. It is electric and everything else works on the seat but the up. The tilt,lumbar, forwards and backwards work just fine also the heat and cool works fine. I have not reclined it all the way back as I'm afraid it won't go back up. Any ideas on what to do? Thank you as my wife is about to take it to ford and I am hoping to avoid that.

being it works OK in one direction and not in the other it is most likely a bad switch Can you read and understand wiring diagrams

Yes I think I could if that would help. Would anyone know where I can find a part number for a switch ? Also any how to directions on how to remove the old one ? Thanks for any help.
