wondering if anyone has gone there, saw a f150 vid where the steering box was loosened that then gave access to pitman arm loosening via the typical removal tool, otherwise everything else remaining intact
shop told me they have to do an alignment, no choice about it if i go with swapping in a used sb
they said they couldn't do a swap period without doing an alignment at the same time?
so can the pitman arm seals (pretty sure there are 2) be changed without taking out the steering box?
seen a few vids where the outer seal at least is taken off via drilling a few holes and using drywall/sheetrock type screws

at ~ 08:35 - 40 dude starts talking about 4 notches, or xtra thick splines but doesn't say xactly that the p-arm will only go on or fit one way
