Please help!

I have 03 expedition Eddie Bauer 5.4 v8 RWD, I can be riding down highway doing about 55 and all of a sudden my truck will stall BUT it always starts right back up! It may go a week or two before it does it again or maybe the next day it’s very random but here lately it’s getting a little WORSE!! Is there ANYBODY that’s having this issue???? PLEASE HELP I LOVE MY TRUCK THATS THE ONLY ISSUE IT HAS

The first thing I would do is get it scanned and report back with any codes retrieved. Truth is it could be fuel or electrical.

Is just the engine that dies or do you lose all electrical power as well?

My 04 also behaved the same way, it would quit running and coast to a stop. The dash thought the car was still running and everything was still on electrically. It turned out to be the non replaceable fuel pump relay. The relay is now replaceable, and I have a new Motorcraft fuel pump on the shelf. I will try to link the thread I wrote on this particular repair.

I'd heavily discourage any issues with the main harnesses, since they would cause further electrical problems. It's probably the fuel pump relay, or an internal issue in the fuse box. Maybe try a relay bypass first before opening any harnesses or the fuse box.

Change the fuel filter if you haven't recently. That's an easy maintenance item to rule out. If that's doesn't fix it, then I agree it may be the fuel pump relay. You can follow AWAR's instructions to add a serviceable relay, or just replace the relay (desolder the bad relay and solder in a new one). I replaced my relay many years ago, still no reoccurring issue.

I had this same problem. I’d be driving just fine and then all of a sudden the engine would die but no lights in the dash so it appeared to still be running. It would of course fit right up and be fine for a little bit, then die again. It turned out to be a bad (non-serviceable) fuel pump relay in the fuse box on the passenger side kick panel. It has a hole burned into the side of it, which you couldn’t see until disassembling the fuse box. I took it out, disassembled it to confirm the bad relay, de-soldered the bad relay and soldered in a 30amp relay in its place. No problem since.

my daughter expedition did the same thing I found that a fuse located behind fuse panel rt side was problem fuse built in fuse panel - replaced fuse panel fix problem - fuse was shutting down fuel system - car would restart every time, problem is intermittent

What years have this non replacable relay? I have a 2011.

Your 2011 has an entire different fuel pump system.
