While working on my truck today, I noticed something unplugged behind the bumper on the driver side. There's a little white box it appears to plug into, does anyone know what this is?

+1 on pics.
What model do you have & are you the original owner?
Do you have fog lights or any other accessory?

Truck is a 99 EB Expedition, 5.4 4x4. I do have fog lights, but both are plugged in and working, so that can't be it. I will get a picture today and update.

Well depending on what the plug looks like, it could be all sorts of things. My first guess would be the block heater plug (regular wall outlet plug with the 3 prongs), but it really could be anything. Did you plug it back into the "white box"? If not I would start with that. Most of the plugs are only designed to plug into one receiver so you won't fry out anything.
