pnched engine 2 x road now eng stuck in 1stst

I pulled out into traffic last night and engine made some jerking. Than my engine wouldn't shift gears as I tried to excelerate. I pulled over and than it would'nt go in reverse. I can shift the stick on my column but the engine itself won't shift. It's like its stuck in first.

Any idea.

Really! I have no idea, maybe a computer problem. Thats my guess. Good luck.

sounds like it might just be linkage problem for the tranny...your column shifter may be moving but the gears wont move. follow the cable down to the tranny and see if it got disconnected....
