Ford just updated the 3.5 EcoBoost and 5.0 V8 for the 2021 F-150. The 3.5 gets a new optional hybrid motor and the 5.0 now features cylinder deactivation and a 4 cylinder mode. Both have recieved new boosted power figures for the new generation trucks. New figures are:
5.0 - - 400 horsepower/410 lb ft
3.5 - - 400 horsepower/500 lb ft
The 2.7 EcoBoost remains at 325 horsepower and the 3.3 remains at 290 horsepower so no changes there. Also I think the PowerBoost Hybrid would be a nice package for the Expedition. Ford should offer the Hybrid on the V8 in the future. Ahem Mustang!!!! The PowerBoost Hybrid is rated at 570 lb ft, insane torque.
