Would any of you who have gotten a Platinum Max have taken and Max LTD 302, it has the HD Tow I am looking for but not the 2nd row captains nor the RSE, it is $5,891 less and I could have it tomorrow rather than order and hope that one gets here before our summer vacation.
I am torn between the get less now or wait weeks to get exactly what I want and pay a premium for it and possibly not have the truck for the summer trip.

They are waiting in line to buy Navigators which are on order at my local Lincoln Dealer. You have done well if you can swing a discount somewhere. Likely need to wait until supply catches up with demand.
To kind of help, you put somewhere about being in the south philly area, a dealer in dover literally just got this max plat. They also have a 302 ltd swb thats been sittin so you could compare. Winner ford of dover if you dont mind the hr drive from pa. For what its worth, Im kinda mad at myself for not ordering a plat or 302.

Thanks but just sealed a deal yesterday on one in FL exactly how I want and in the original color I wanted before I saw SHW's MAD MAX Blue one. So me and my two daughters are flying down next Friday AM and gonna pick her up and drive her home over the next two days to South Jersey. A Little Father daughters time. Wife gets the son alone for the week end which hasn't happened since he was less than a year old and he is now 6. Win-Win-Win-Win-Win!

There is a white gold Platinum 4x4 with HD tow and 2nd row bucket seats at Ravenel Ford currently shown on their web site at about $75.1K. It's been there for quite a while, might make a good deal for someone. I wanted a Platinum Max; otherwise, I'd probably already be driving this one.

Interesting. Found a Max Plat in Toronto MSRP with no options and freight is $86239 CDN. * 0.78 = $67,336 before any discounting. Also found that tow package in Canada is $1400 CDN, here they charge $1,570. What is sales tax in Canada or other taxes. In the Detroit area and I am sure importing is a bugger

It used to be easy. When our loonie went past the USA dollar in 2007 I purchased two new vehicles in the USA and saved $$$$. Dealers in Canada complained because thousands of Canadians were buying from the states and now the auto companies make it very difficult to purchase over the border but it's not impossible. Too bad because with our low dollar at the moment you guys in border cities could save big $$ buying in Canada.
