Coolant leaks can also be internal or water pump where you can't see very easily. The head gaskets could be getting bad. The water pump may be getting bad and may leak a little when the engine is cold and stops after it heats up.
I'm talking about the wet marks under the fitting on the frame.

Guess I'm seeing things. There appears to me to be a water track on the hose below the fitting, also on the frame. Imo if it was internal it should be seen at the exhaust exit or an increase in oil. How about a pressure test?

If it has a leak I would bet its coming from one of the hoses that have the plastic y connectors that run into heater cores. That seems to where they happen. And no they are not covered under extended warranty.
How accessible are these connectors?
No coolant drips on the driveway, but occasionally have a faint coolant smell from outside the truck.

Some are easily accessible, others not so much.
problem areas: Radiator, overflow tank and cap, water pump, heater hoses and other hoses and connections, head Gaskets, heater Core, Turbocharger.
If there is a small leak, especially at the top of the radiator, you will smell coolant, but maybe not any water leakage, as it would be evaporating steam. Hidden hoses and connection leaks can be small and the water will evaporate but still smell.
The faint smell could also be the overflow tank spitting out excessive pressure when the vehicle is hot. Or the pressure cap is loose or original. If original it is possible a 7-year-old cap could not have the same specs anymore.

Paying more attention to this since starting this thread. Looks like I'm getting a small leak just inboard of the RF wheel. Anything suspect there to inspect?

Looks like it's maybe this? Damp on the screws & looks to be about over where the spot on the driveway is.1000006091.jpg1000006090.jpg

I have noticed that my fan is running more than I think. It should be.So I want to top up the coolant, and want to make sure I get the right one.
I'm assuming a motorcraft would be a safe bet?
Or is any orange option good to go?
I read where orange and yellow coolant should not be mixed.

I only use Motorcraft Yellow Concentrated Antifreeze/Coolant and cut it 50% with distilled water.
I flush and fill once a year.
