I have a 2007 Expedition Eddie Bauer....the puddle lamps on the bottom of the mirror don't work. I took the lamps out and checked them, they work fine...checked the fuse, it is fine. Is there a relay or something. Illuminated entry is "on", dimmer is on, the turn signals work, mirrors work, locks work...seems to be the only electrical problem. Any ideas would be a great help...

Thanks

When you say the turn signals work and that you checked the lamps I assume you mean that the light itself does everything its supposed to except light up when you unlock the truck and open or close the doors right? If you have gone through the "Menu" and it is on, and you have the dimmer/ interior lighting correct, then I would just bring it in for service. Nothing worse then stepping in a puddle or pile of steaming $&%# just before you get in the truck.

Lights work....I took them out and hooked up to a 12v source.....was trying to avoid taking in for service....lights aren't that important, just bugs me that they're not working. Thanks

You need a schematic to find out what tells the puddle lamps to activate, that item is possible bad or maybe has some type of corrosion or bad connection, may even be a programming deal with the fob or key pad.

there could be a break in the wire that's inside the door possibly.
