I am new to the expedition, had an 03 explorer, and had the controller installed on that. When I traded in the explorer for the expedition I took all the wiring that was installed.
Now my expedition, also an 03 has the hd tow package ( at least I believe, it has the big cooler in front of the radiator, the 7 and 4 pin hook up, and its the Eddie Bauer), my question is how do I hook this controller up? Exploder had relays they wired in, the expedition has a gray plug already there, I assumed you would just plug in there and be done. But that is not the case. The plug for the controller is different then the plug for the truck. So I do an Internet search.. Can find the plugs for the prodigy unit but not the quest that I have now. Can some one shed some light on this? I really don't if I can help it want to start splicing into the factory wiring, but will if I have too...
