Hi

I just purchased an 07 Expy El.
Its a fixer upper. Lol!
To be honest I have always been a Chevy person so this is a learning experience for me.

The vehicle has a column shift. But the console is for the console shift. So I have this gaping hole. But- I know what Im going to do with that.

The radio (a stock Single CD/MP3/AM/FM) and looks to be Bluetooth but not sure.
The radio did not power in, so I popped off the faceplate and removed the radio. The two connectors/plugs were in the radio but someone had cut the wiring harness.
So I searched the salvage yard and after 4 tries I found the same style connector w/same color wires and cut a length so I can wire my original harness back.

What I want to know is: dies this radio have built in Bluetooth for hands free calling? Will the MP3 input work or are there more modules, etc. that I need?

If this radio doesn't work can I switch to a 6 CD changer OEM radio?

I know I can go get an aftermarket but I like the stock oem.

Anyone know where I can view an actual schematic fir this particular radio?

Thanks in advance for any help

No Bluetooth, odd someone hacked up the harness if stock. Post a pic. I bet it’s not the stock unit.

Radio w cut harness like mentioned above is likely not original, one probably went bad and someone likely ordered/junkyard replaced w the incorrect unit which is why harness was cut/different.

I don't think bluetooth was an option before sync was introduced on these. Does the steering wheel have a "talk" button. It typically looks like a face with little sound wave looking projections. If not the vehicle more than likely doesn't have it as an option or something you could add w a factory setup. Well, not cost effectively anyway.

If you insist on a factory style radio and want a close to integrated bkuetooth solution the iSimple Tranzit BLU is pretty nice. It has a quality mic, can be concealed inside the dash and gives you a dedicated call button you can place just about anywhere in the cabin. It installs w a pair of antenna adapters and normal wires for power. An aftermarket radio however is money better spent from a features and sound quality standpoint.
