Had shop look at it removed a plastic shield. Didn't fix. 85,000 miles. The noise started occasionally and only for a few seconds. Started about a month ago. Now the noise is most of the time but stops occasionally for a few seconds. If I hit a bump it stops and makes a thud like it broke off. Then starts up again. Now occasionally when driving I feel a vibration in the gas pedal when its rattling. It does not make this noise on start up so guessing its not the cam phasers.
