My front a/c is relatively cold but sometimes after about 15 minutes the rear a/c will blow warm. The blend door is on full cold. The evaporator lines going to the rear are hot. At least a couple of them should be cold I would think. Any ideas? Expansion valve in the rear? Pressures are 50-60 low and 165 high. 115 degrees outside.

I'm in the same boat as you. I found a rear expansion valve brand new surplus Motorcraft for only $12 with free shipping. I'll see if it fixes it. I saw someone else cure that problem with a rear expansion valve.

My other thought is- why is the hot water always on at the rear heater core? Normally the front has a heater water valve, so why not the rear also? Mine is like 190 degrees hot water even though the rear a/c is also ice cold. The result is ambient air coming out.

So is there any news about fixing the problem?
I'm having that issue along with the door motor.
