rear air not hot and clunking

04' 75k miles. it started clunking in the back last year so i unpluged the top acuator on pass side rear pannel. worked but now when i change the temp to hot on the front it clunks again but in the front pass side. wont get hot in the rear either. any help would be great. thanks
