Does anyone know if there is a clear rear bumper cover made for the 2018 Expedition Max yet? My wife has a 3M clear sticker on her rear bumper of her car, and its literally saved the rear bumper from getting scratched up from loading things into the trunk.

Anyone make one yet?

Thanks

You can DIY, or just be gentle when loading (which is the cheaper option)

If I load bodies into it at my funeral home, my cot legs slam into the rear bumper as they fold up. Its something I can't avoid. I usually just drape a hunk of carpeting out the back, but I'm hoping to not do that with this vehicle.

You’ll probably be replacing that sticker monthly, which isn’t worth it. Maybe try a cheap alternative like the carpet idea you had or a small roll of automotive carpet fabric from Walmart.

Clear bra would be an option or the weathertech mat that has the bumper protector. I have the weathertech one and it’s mega handy.

We had one on our Fusion that was OEM and it worked/held up great. Like this: https://www.amazon.com/Ford-Transparent-Applique-Adhesive-Protector/dp/B00P891ZO8

I haven't seen one for the Expedition, but Lamin-X makes a universal one that may fit, or might be able to cut to fit if needed: https://www.lamin-x.com/rear-bumper...Sm1zramUMR3ppwSrkO9mB3jZT4b-PolhoCliQQAvD_BwE

I have this stuff on my wife's car, where the rocks kick up into the rear quarter. Makes a huge difference. I also have a patch of it under my mag mount antenna, seems to work okay there, too. It's a pain to cut through, but it takes a licking and keeps on kicking!
