Yep and my parents live in London close to the drag strip. Where did you get the replacement plugs? I'm tempted to get them ahead of time just in case.

Glenn Ford but Paul Miller is closer to you.
Those plugs are used in most Ford truck differentials for years. So any dealer should have a bunch in stock. I think they were like $4.25 each.

Well I just picked up my Expy from the dealership after having more warranty work done (APIM was replaced) but also had them check out a different whine noise while it was there. I actually thought the noise was coming from the transmission or transfer case but I was wrong. It needed new pinion and side carrier bearings and races. Hopefully this time it’s fixed right. I took it to a different dealership this time where I have a friend who was the technician that worked on it. It is perfectly quiet this time! I should’ve taken it to him instead of the dealership I bought it from the first time. I’m so lucky I’ve still got a technician connection at a Ford/Lincoln dealership!
