Rear Height Adjustment

The rear ride height on my '98 Expy EB 4x4 sets lower than the front. The compressor runs and adjust things on a regular basis so I'm wondering if the rear height is adjustable and can I do it or does it have to be hooked to electronics at Ford to set the ride height.

on my 01 2x4 you can adjust it. There is a height sensor just to the left of the rear pumpkin. Loosen the lower nut, slide it up some to compress it, and tighten. This makes the computer think the rear is lower than it actually is and will raise it up.

Should be the same for a 98, but I dont have 4x4 so I'm not sure.

thanks chadly! I got under there today and adjusted it and the back came up just like I wanted it to. Easy fix. The PO must have liked it lower than me.

I learned that trick with the Mark VIII first, but I did the opposit to lower it. When I bought the wife an expy the back was kinda low too so I knew what to do. Glad I could help!
