I’ve seen similar posts but nothing with a final answer, any help is appreciated!
I have a 2017 Ford Expedition. Just recently I discovered there was no heat coming out of the ceiling vents in the rear. Ford thought it was leaking coolant and wanted to replace all the hoses. That was crap and clearly not the issue as cold and heat works in front and cold works in rear.
Took it to another mechanic and he replaced the rear actuator in the side panel. It worked for a day and now it doesn’t. I played around with it and discovered if I use the climate controls in the second row everything works perfectly. It just doesn’t work if I use the sync screen climate controls. My model does not have a choice for selecting vent modes from the screen that controls the rear temp and fan speed.
