I'm trying to instal my new Magnaflow Cat back on my 2003 Expedition and I can't get the damn sway bar off the back to do this. The bolts that connect the link to the bar spin freely and don't loosen. This is the same for three of the bolts for the sway bar to the frame! I'm calling it quits for tonight but does anyone know if the bolts for the sway bar are welded from factory to the frame or can I remove the faulty bolts without cutting them off? Lost here...simple instal gone bad...

I WANT TO HEAR MY TRUCK ROAR!!

Thanks

It's a 2003, I was using an impact when trying to take it off. But the whole thing spins and the bolt doesn't thread off. I only got one of the four bolts off. I'm investigating new end links and bought one today to reverse engineer. The one I got has flats on the end of the end link stud that you should be able to put an open end wrench on while turning the nut. The end links have a rod end w/stud at each end. One into the bar is right angle while the one into the swing arm is straight. I haven't pulled mine off, so I hope this helps a bit.
