Rear wiper doesn't work

I have a 2000 EB 4x4 and I have a problem with the rear wiper not working. It will only work after "assisted" by moving it a little, then it will work correctly by using the switch on the turn signal. It will work for a few days, then it won't work again until "assisting" it. Any suggestions?

This is a very old issue, disussed on all the forums for at least 5-6 years. I would do a search on this one.

You are doing exactly what I and most others that have this problem have done, short of changing out the wiper motor.
