replaced steering box - steering backwards now

Sounds to me that they gave you a Pre-97 pump as the 96 and earlier had the pitman arm facing forward.

i personally thinks it awesome and i think you should drive around your neighborhood for fun

It was a bit fun. figured I could learn to drive it that way, but then could not drive my wife's expedition. a friend told me just do it like how you back up a trailer. use the bottom of the steering wheel instead of the top 12 o'clock. Anyway, fixed and working, now if I can just get it to pass inspection. 5 years is probably too long. Thanks for everyone's help.
