Does anyone know where i can get soem replacement body panels? I saw that Rock Auto has just started to sell replacemengt rocker panels but I am in need of the rear wheel arches although if need be I could fix whats there and cover them with EB wheel arch mouldings.
I also need as you can see in the pics the bottoms of all 4 doors. I want to do this right as the truck only has 106K on it so I would like to buy replacement metal or find someone parting out an Expy or F150 and get the doors. Thoughts? I do have a body guy that does work for my dad's car lot but he does "quick work" if you know what I mean so of course I could have him slap bondo over it all but thats not the route I want to take.

Driver's side rear wheel arch- 2 spots although I think I can do this without replacing metal

But being that the rust is in there wouldn't it end up continuing to eat through and eventually come back?
You can also see the pass rear door exterior skin has actually pulled from the inside

That truck is in need of some serious work. If you are dedicated to keeping that truck, i would snatch up the angle grinder and portable sand blaster with some aluminum oxide and rust inhibitor. The only way you are gonna really make a difference is if you go balls to the walls on it or its just gonna rust. I can throw some stuff about what i learned when i redid the under side of my doors like you showed in your pics. Basically your gonna need some serious tooling to get this job done and a ton of time to get rid of all your rust. Body panels would help save some but it still is one hell of a project you are looking at.

Really you need to decide now much you like that truck and how much you are willing to spend in time and money.

I just did a huge bondo project on my one fender in the hopes that it holds up for a year or two till i replace the truck. I do know that my next truck is getting undercoated throughout...

I know its gonna be some work but the truck is paid for (obviously) only has 106K miles on it with a clean interior and runds beautifuly. If I can fix it so I can get another 2 years out of it I am good with that- I am also not opposed to putting new doors on- just have to look around and find some.

well in the south at least TN there is no rust in the doors or bodies I would look for used doors from this area (Chattanooga) car-part.com is a good web sight and will tell you how far the parts are from where u r. I used to live in WV and grew up fixing rust. The best u can hope for is 8months to a year b 4 it starts showing up again. Only fix that is permanent is replace. Been there done that. Undercoating slows it down some but the best thing would by an old junker to run in the winter. There r lots of all wheel drive vehicles that would work in snowy weather a 4x4 Aerostar will amaze u where it will go. Just saying.
