Hi All, what would be involved with replacing the factory 6 disc in dash unit with an 05 Factory NAV unit? I know I would have to install the NAV antenna, (not sure where it mounts however) but what else would I need?

Any advice is appreciated.

i only remember what everyone else has said...1st see if your truck is wired to support it...not all were/are...for the antenna...i have aftermarket unit and i just put the antenna up in the little pocket up in the dash...when you take it out you can see it...mine is tucked in there and works with no probs....

Thanks.. After looking at options, I guess I am leaning toward an aftermarket. At least it would be new, and have a warranty.

you can not fit a factory navigation in the existing opening in the dash for the factory 6 disc. The nav headunit is much larger.

on that note.... Pioneer for the win!!
