Looks good Ross. I would like them without the rings but other than that they look good.

i originally had angel eyes on the shrouds...ring on the small bowl...after talking with the guy and him sending pics...decided to go this route...i originally had LEDs running across the top but there wasnt enough room to make it look clean...i didnt want them on the bottom (most people do it)...so this is where i'm at...i'm satisfied with the outcome...switch back turn signals...flash amber only when turn signal is used...other than that they stay white...

looks great!

Time can be a fun thing sometimes..........I am glad to say that I have never had one go 4 months. Depending on workload.......I can typically get a painted set out in 2-3 weeks, non painted in 1-2. (thats when I am not doing 4-5 a weekend though!).

You mention E55 shrouds, but what actual projectors is he using?

Again, looks GREAT!!

hmmm..........never heard of VR3.

4-5 a weekend was me last weekend. :D On the plate for this weekend:
Mitsubishi lights - removed LED halos and replace with CCFLs
Ram - Painted Mineral Gray / Black, Retro / CCFLs
Ram - Retro / remove amber corner
Ram - Retro / CCFLs

I have actually outsourced my paint work, that was what was slowing me down before. I give my painter a week now. So, painted sets take a week longer - but thats to be expected.

hmmm..........never heard of VR3.

I use ApexCone & Morimoto HID Ballasts and XeBright AAV HID Bulbs. The projectors are "Bi-Xenon" V3Rs (a retro-fit version projector designed after the "Valeo" projector & much like the "Morimoto" with comparable output/cutoff to the FX > output/cutoff pics attached). The bulbs are D2H style (with AMP connectors) & everything includes a lifetime manufacturer's warranty (projectors, ballasts & bulbs). Btw, I can also retro-fit with FX-R Bi-Xenon Projectors instead

so what do you think about this?

My guess is it will look somewhat like this.

He got his done through the same person (Brian at sickhids, right?). Wouldn't say it's a bad output. It ain't no FX-R or TL, but I'd suppose better than PNP in stockers. I don't like the diagonal slants above the cutoff line, or the weird looking halos on the ground (though those might be from the housing itself).

Click the work "this" in the first sentence. It's a link. Kinnda sucks this layout doesn't highlight links with more contrast...

interesting. V3R......eh?

I hope that is not the output of them. I am going to guess that with the different shrouds he got, its not the same ones as the link above. I did a set like that on my 08, and had a set here for a bit to do for a customer, but he changed his mind. The cutoff........stinks.
