Does would be better than nothing and look okay but you really want something stronger and better corrugated to fit right over your existing ones. Then, whether you use adhesive, rivets, and some people even use screws to hold them on. Doesn't matter as much if they're fairly sturdy and fit properly.Some are just window-capping aluminum coil bent in a brake, installed with Liquid Nails.
