Rough Country 18+ 3" lift - a Real Lift kit!!

It would be nice to provide kits with spacers OR coilover(s). They have a 3" kit like that for the F150.

This is intersting. I am Bilsteined up front for 2 inches and 2 inches rear, and still have the aerodynamic/towing/loading nose down cant from the factory... I have no explanation why that occured with the F150's maxed out up front, but it worked out better than I thought. I too would love the suspension components, or a full front lift with rear coil overs--both with some adjustability.

Would those supension control arms even work with Bilsteins? What would happen if I went full RC coils up front, and kept my Bilsteins out back with their rear control arms?

Any more news on this? Is RC considered not a very well made system? Some of those welds on the RC rear control arms look rough (in the picture) and I'd prefer the rear struts lifted as well as oppsed to a spacer. A glance at the ICON system and t hey are still $6K and the front control arms like $1K alone...

‘18 expy platinum is in right now getting RC 3in kit with ready lift rear. Hoping it’s as good as planned.

Looks much better replacing the rear links.
If I were starting over, I would install the Ready Lift up front, with the Rough Country UCA’s. And the Rough Country setup in the back. New CCD brackets from ReadyLift.

But really, I wish somebody would make a full CCD delete kit, to allow some serious Raptor grade running gear.

I looked at the list of all the included pieces. The front are two loaded strut assemblies and upper control arms. So in the front, the lift is with the strut assembly instead of a spacer. The rear lift is by spacer.

This could possibly work with CCD if front spacers are used with the OEM CCD strut assemblies, front sensor brackets, and adjustable sensor links.

I just had my 18 Platinum lifted 3”. The RC kit doesn’t work with the CCD. The shop told me it’s bc there is no bracket to mount the sensors. It was shown to me that the sensor is mounted to the UCA. Would you guys confirm this for me? So I ended up with Spacers from Ready lift. Thanks in advance

Shop is correct. If you were to use the UCA’s from the RC kit, you would have to somehow fabricate a way to mount the bracket for the CCD sensors. Also, you wouldn’t be able to use the loaded strut assemblies with the RC kit.

ReadyLift spacer type lift for the front and RC for the rear would likely be a good combo if retaining CCD.

me if I have CCD on my 21 Platinum and what it does? Also is this in front or rear?
