O.K. I got most of the programming figured out with this Edge CS programmer...I just ran a 0-60 in 10.2 seconds....I didn't think that was bad for a 7000lbs truck?? thoughts? Still working on the shift points....I was curious though...the electronic coolant temp shows that this heats up 188 degree and stays there unless im really driven it hard then will go to 192....I thought these were to heat up to 192 and level off? thoughts..

Couldn't say what mine is other than SLOW!!! I think my little 4.6 ran 12 or something if I remember counting it right, but that was in Iowa. Now that I'm at 7200 ft in Laramie, the elevation makes it even worse. Although I can get going pretty quick coming down the summit on the east side of town... I will hopefully get back with some better numbers when I get around to my rebuild next year ...

I need to borrow someones Edge to check mine. My sct does not have this function. I think its available as a add on. :(

I can tell you mine ran 8.9 seconds in the 8th mi @ 78 mph so I think it is in the 6 second zone to 60mph. Hope to improve that dramatically here soon.

See edge is better than SCT....:Wedgie:... :joke:

I'll have to go double check my numbers... but my coolant usually stays around 198-200...

:upyours: lol... I like the look of the edge better but I had to have the sct for the custom programming. SCT does have a touch screen version with the same type of features as the edge but it was too much $$ for me.

touch screen

I seen the touch screen and my fingers are to fat and my luck just something else to go wrong...I will stick with the buttons..however I do like the size of the touch screen being larger...however would have had a problem mounting it in the overhead console...:hmm:

I should have said 2v 5.4. :) If you check both directions in the same spot it should average out the effect of the terrain.

I went to the following site and punched in my timeslip numbers just to see what it would say my 0-60 would be (estimated) on my expy.

http://www.wallaceracing.com/0-60_equation.php

For my expy with 8.806 1/8 mi @ 79.44 it came up with 5.02 seconds.
For my stang with 6.646 1/8 mi @ 104.45 it came up with 2.19 seconds 0-60mph.
