For information on the referred-to Safety Recall 24S70, from which Safety Recall 25S30 has become the successor Field Service Action, please see...

Safety Recall 24S70 - Certain 2024 Expedition/Navigator - 3.5L EcoBoost - Engine Cup Plug Inspection

Do you happen to have a copy of the entire letter? I am looking for the details for the F150 inspection and repair.

Thanks in advance

So after my dealer ordered parts after the initial visit about 10 days ago (returned truck to me), they now determined they will need to pull the engine to complete the repair (they will get me a loaner). 2024 Expedition Max Limited SPP with only 4,000 miles, ugh.

Good luck - I would be worried it will never be right.

How many plastic clips, fasteners, connectors, etc. will be broken apart to remove the engine, and not replaced properly? The a/c system will be opened, plugged, then recharged. Will it be done right, without any moisture or contamination?

Chances are the mechanic will be racing to “beat the clock” on the time allowed for the repair.

Let us know the outcome.
