Hi from Central Florida! Been shopping for a CPO 17 Expedition for a while, buying one to haul my 17’ Bigfoot camper as well as my sidekick 165# Greatdane “Radar”
This is my first camper, first time pulling anything for that matter, I like both the reg length and the EL and either should be able to handle The BF without and problems, at least that’s what I’ve been told. So the camper is a little over 8’ wide a little over 10’ tall and max weight under #4000.
The expy’s ive been looking at all have the HD tow package with anti sway and a brake controller, I’m narrowed down to 2 reg length and 1 EL but haven’t had a chance to drive the EL yet to see if I like the ride. Planning on pulling the trigger on something by Monday....wish me luck.
