Sometimes my screen & audio does not turn on when I start my 2018 Expedition. It typically doesn’t happen in the morning but whenever I turn the truck off during the day, it typically doesn’t work when I start again during the same day. I’ve tried holding power & next on the system but that doesn’t work. After driving for 20-30 minutes, the system will turn on.

Anyone else experiencing this or know what the issue could be? TIA

That really sounds like a loose connection somewhere. Might have to start unplugging and re-plugging connectors or see if you can spot damage to cables.

Sounds like a loose connection to me as well. I had it happen once to my 2018 and ended up disconnecting the negative terminal and reconnecting after 5 minutes. it did the trick to get the screen back on. Sometimes my apple car play will also glitch and then fix itself after I unplug and plug back into the USB.

Still under warranty? Take it into the shop and let them figure it out.
