Second strange thing in my interior

On to #2. At the top of the windshield on the passenger side, right where it meets the headliner, there is a small black cable that appears to be a standard coax cable. I dunno wtf it's there for. I have no idea what the previous owner was using the truck for, i bought it from a dealer selling it on consignment. I cant see any signs there was anything mounted on the roof. Any ideas what it's for? Or how to get rid of it? Any reason not to just take a pair of wire cutters to it and just cut that ***** out?

But seriously, what could this have been hooked up to?

I would venture to guess that at some point he had a CB mounted to the visor or something of the sort and when he went to sell the truck, he pulled the CB out and left the cable in since it was probably a PITA to put in and therefore a PITA to remove. That is what the connector looks like to me.
