Depends on the price. I just got rid of my K5 about a month ago and I loved it, a beast. I'd find out what's wrong with the rear end exactly but most junkyards will have what you need, may be cheaper to just get a complete rear end from a junkyard and replace.

Parts are cheap and the 350 is a piece of cake to work on.

k5s are sick. but you can get a built one for fairly cheap. a 350 is real easy to work on!

Hell yeah then just put a lift and some mudders! I love those things. And finding parts for the 350 is the same as finding pandas at the zoo, very easy

not always. how many pandas are there at zoos? not too many. and besides they are all under a loan. after a certain age they all go back to china.

If you're going to put some bigger tires on her I'd also recommend the steering box brace kit as well. It reinforces the frame near the steering box which is prone to frame cracking which is common on older GM vehicles.

yeah they are fun to build.. have helped build a few... but I agree smaller rims and bigger tires...
