side mirror swap?

I would like to swap out my regular side mirrors with the puddle lights for the ones with the blinker and turn signal. Wondering if this is possible or if there is a different wiring harness.

More than likely cuz the xlt isnt wired to have turn signal functions

Thanks guys replacing all the interior lights with leds. Just wanted to see if I could change them out.before I purchase the leds.

I know I've seen a thread somewhere (either here or FTE) with pretty simply instructions on how to do it. It requires running 1 or 2 extra wires to run the turn signals.

It's odd that you have to tap into the same color wire at both ends, but they're not one and the same?
