Ok...soo...my new purchase is getting expensive. So far...batt, alt, starter, tranny line, brake pads.......now this!!!!

Around 35-40 mph i get a bad shuttering when i am on the gas. When i come off the pedal or accelerate it goes away. Any ideas????

Thanks in advance.

Not sure of the exact circumstance your describing but it could be an ignition miss at low rpm / high load (overdrive?). Heavier throttle may get it to downshift reducing the load on the ignition.

Smok, bad ignition coil. MOst likely #3 or #4. Granted, #7 is a high probability if it is not 3 or 4. If it isn't those, I would check the rear end diff fluid level if you have a limited slip rear end. If this happens when turning, the fluid level can be low and you are not getting the necessary amount of friction modifier to the LS unit, therefore it is locking and unlocking on you, leading to the stuttering that you are seeing.

Coil pack...torque converter...transmission... ...Instant Shudder Fixx by Dr.Tranny is the cheapest way to start (8$+). I used that and adjusted my shift pressure on my tuner. No more problems...you may have a CoP going bad and it wouldn't necessarily throw a code...
