When the water pump seals start to go bad it will start to leak coolant out of a little hole on the bottom of the shaft housing when the system is under pressure. This is an old school heads up that you need to start thinking about a new water pump. It may last several thousand miles like this and only leak when the pressure is very high like on a very hot day when you are stuck in traffic.
