I am running a 3" front 1.5 rear spacer kit. No problems so far and installation was easy.

what did the install involve? could you do it in your garage fairly easily?
rescuer3 how do you like the K&N intake? i have them on all my cars/trucks except the Expedition.

i did the fronts myself but had to have my mechanic do the backs ones because i couldn't break loose the nuts. here is a link to my install
http://www.expeditionforum.com/f47/spacer-lift-fronts-2nd-gen-17356/

as far as a k&n i have the k&n CAI i like it. it seemed like it added a little power and some mpg, but i also did my exhaust around the same time so not sure how much was from each(and it was done 6 years ago so cant really remember details). You might look into the gotts mod with just a k&n filter.

the tires and factory rims that you are running look great together. is the pic of the 285/70/17? did you have any issue with rubbing when at stock height with out lift?

I also did the 3.5/2.5 spacer lift, it's the same process as the 1" - 2", I had a mechanic install my kit in his home garage $200, don't forget the four wheel alignment $100. The ride actually feels better/rolls smother with some of the weight shifted to the rear. Have not changed tires yet.

yes all the pics have 285/70/17. i had some rubbing when turning on the inner fender liner. all pics are 285/70/17 on stock rim stock height. BUt mine is a 4x4 which is about an inch taller than 4x2.

1. front tire
2. rear tire
3. where tire rubs on inner fender
4. tire rubbing on inner fender
5. side view
