Hey guys just got my 99 Expy a week ago and love it. Anyway lately I've noticed that if I drive it a little hard i smell oil after I shut it off. No smoking or visible leak anywhere. It has even cold up here lately. It's in the mid 30s tonight and that's the last i smelled it. Oil looks clean on dipstick so I'm at a loss. Also noticed that water is coming out of my tailpipe as well with what looks like black soot hopefully not oil. Anyone else experienced this ? Is this an easy fix?

the water out the tailpipe is just mixed with the Carbon nothing to worry about there. if I remember correctly the 99 had a remote oil filter and the lines of those leak. easy to replace about 60 bucks for the lines no big deal

Could also be leaking out of the back of the heads onto the exhaust manifolds.. Just had this repaired on mine.

You would be surprised how little oil needs to drip on an exhaust to make a hell of a smell.
You may not be able to see it until you crawl under and check around.
