Hello fellow Expedition drivers!
My name is Sean. I hale from the white tundra of Minnesota where this year ( my first year with an Expedition ) I have braved Three epic snow storms, each one dropping over a foot on us. With the power of my '04 Expedition I've managed to not only make it home through each of those storms, but drive most of my co-workers home as well.
I happened upon my Expedition after I managed to somehow destroy the engine of my '88 Buick Park Avenue (RIP). I went looking for another Buick but couldnt find a mid-sized SUV that I enjoyed as much as I enjoyed driving my mothers TrailBlazer. After a few different places and a few different test drives I found that I didnt feel at home in anything Buick made after 88. So we landed ourselves in a Chevy dealership looking at their used inventory. Between an Escalade and a beaten up Tahoe sat my truck. 2004, 98k miles, oversized side mirrors, leather seats, sunroof, 6 cd changer, electric folding back seats, V8 Triton...I was in heaven. I was in love.
Until I filled the tank the first time letting it get to nearly empty. *gag*
But after some modifications this spring I will have this puppy up and running with better fuel econ and more skip!!
