Its been raining the past few days and the truck has been acting funny, radio has been cutting out and cruise control isnt working now. From reading the board, i believe it to be a leaky windshield and wet GEM. My question is, when i accelerate hard or slow down fast, i can hear flowing water. It sounds like its behind the passenger glove box, but im not sure. Could this be something seen after the removal of the windshield? Thanks for any insight!

Hopefully it is not leaking that bad... Usually the leak is more of a trickle down the wire harness to the fuse box and GEM.

Does your windshield wiper reservoir hold its fluid? My didn't because the tubing joint behind the passenger kick panel had come apart (this is the tube that feeds the back window sprayer). All the fluid had collected under the passanger side step panels (and I could hear it sloshing around) It was easy to fix, but also make sure the rear sprayer is clear. Mine was clogged so that when trying to spray the back window, pressure built up and caused the fitting seperation.

When I hear water under the dash it means my coolant is low. Does it only happen when you accelerate or really get on the gas? If so then I would top off your coolant and give it time to purge the air bubbles in your cooling system.

The heater runs water through pipes behind the glove box. Nothing to worry about there. I hear it on mine and have zero issues.

Wow thanks fellas. Im not sure about my wiper fluid reservoir, I will check it this weekend to see if its full and functional. I will also pop the top off and let the system purge. Thanks for the replies, im not new to fords but this is my first expy, and hearing flowing water sloshing around when i accelerate kinda had me worried. I will check those items suggested. Thanks!

My windshield is leaking, i have water running down the passenger A-pillar handle, so I will address that also.
