spark plug blow out...

my expy with 63k on it blew the #3 plug over a year ago right before i bought it. it was repaired and ran great untill a month or so ago when i started noticing the ticking noise again. so i changed the plugs and found another one ready to blow..glad i cought it!


so my buddy has a '97 5.4 that hes modd'd up pretty good its a nice truck. well this morning he calls me and doesnt know whats wrong w/his truck. tells me what happened i asked him to look for a pushed up coil...bam that was it. so i headed down there..we towed his truck up to my garage and i started the repair. i used a repair kit from carquest and it worked perfectly. i allready had a new coil so that was taken care of.

anyhow if you have a pre-03 expy listen for a ticking/exhaust leak noise it could very well be a plug about to blow.

Try this forum, there are some threads on that subject. One of my spark plugs blew out just over a year ago on x-mas eve! ahaha Good luck man

where are those lights now? i think the lightforce lights look funny. 10" lights. haha my old avia teacher had 2 of them on his fj. but his fj was only 2wd. like really?

they are on my buddys truck lol

i love lightforces, just cant justify the cost as of now. bright as hell! with adjustable focus and diff color lens filters.


up here with down to only 4 hours of sunlight in the winter and moss everywhere you need some extra BRIGHT lighting!
