I am really not trying to be rude here. If you have to ask, I would HIGHLY suggest you get someone else to change them out for you.

The spark plugs are located right beside the intake on each side directly behind the injectors. You can also trace the location based on following the spark plug wires.

With all due respect, he means if you don't know where the spark plugs, have someone else work on your expedition.

That said, the spark plugs are on the intake side of the head. Follow the plug wires and you should be able to find the spark plugs.

Some people are not familiar with the notion of having COPs and the usual method of locating the plugs from the distributor through the coil wires will not help.

It's a simple enough question and a simple enough answer. (I hot-linked these images from the F150 forum, shame on me)

3 out of 5 people will say it's OK 84% of the time . . .

I've cleaned my engine more than once at the car wash and did a fine damned job it of. However, it's very possible to get water down in to the spark plug tube which will cause an engine misfire.

Before you attempt to spray water in that area, remove the bolt to the coil and apply a liberal amount of silicon grease to the cop\top of tube.
