Speaker help...

Will these speakers fit in my 1997 Ford Expedition with no modification? As far as I can tell they look good.

I thought both front and rear were 6x8, but if it only fits in the front, what size is the back?!?

thought the same thing, so selected front door then rear door...green check on front, no-go on back. maybe specific to the speaker?? saw near identical model (last part of #was 48 maybe) and it was listed for both front and rear...could be a near miss by crutchfield. think they err on the side of no rather than yes. my double din wasn't supposed to fit, at the time, but went in like a key...

lol. because the best answer would be "I have those speakers in my 97 and they fit perfectly".

fwiw specs show the 85 model (vs. 44...I was close!) is slightly bigger, 1/8th depth and 1/8th width...sounds workable to me!

Ok, thank you very much. Right now I am trying to figure out why I am getting 9 mpg... switched the air filter yesterday.

front oem is a 5 inch circle and a tweeter and then rear is 6x8
