spedometer cluster

has anybody attemped to transplant a new spedometer cluster into an older expy........

or an F150 cluster into an expedition just for a more hiteck look?

thinking of putting this in my 04 expedition. you guys think it will be a straight hook up?

i like this one better but this one looks completely diferent as far as bolt holes go.

Ive never attempted it and i can assure you it wont be a plug and play mod.... Prolly more trouble than its worth... just my .02

It cant be too difficult, i know allot of people with S2K clusters in their 5th and 6th gen Civics.

plus i bet the odometer thing might be a bad thing too........... people might thing i was trying to lie on mileage.

What is your mileage anyways?

The mileage is stored in the BCM (body control module) and the ECU (electronic control unit) one or both...it is not stored in the cluster....I agree though it is cool looking and I hate my cluster but that why I just changed the face...still dont like it...but I think your lookin for allot of wiring issues....but then who thought you could put a ZF6 6-speed in an Expedition...but its done...guess it just how much you want to bite off....
