Hi guys, my 1997 XLT started to annoy me, there´s this squaking noise that comes from somewhere in the rigth hand side of the dashboard when traveling on rough terrain, I found 3 screws missing on the glove box to the dash section, but this was not the problem, I searched for everythin possible, I´m afraid I´ll have to remove the whole damn thing and see what´s loose or broke or who knows, does anyone had the same issue? it would be easier knowing where to start from the beginig.
Thanks in advance.

One possibility is the trim bezel around the audio and climate controls. On my 1999 EB, it has push-on metal clips that attach to molded slots on the main dash panel. If any of those connections are broken or loose, it can cause a really annoying metal-on-plastic kind of squeak.

Any luck? Locating a squeak can be like trying to find a cricket in the dark.
