Anyone have the workshop manual? Workshop Manual, Section 501-03/501-28. It's fairly easy to remove the spoiler. I'm going to replace mine that's cracked due to this. I got luck and it barely damaged my actual roof. My rubber seal that goes across came out of the spoiler though and I don't see how I can get it back in and have it secured (did they use an adhesive? At 60MPH, the plastic spoiler now catches wind and flexes upwards so I'm thinking whatever gripped it (rubber seal) broke or came off. If anyone knows it's just a double sided adhesive I could probably get it back together. That said, I'm looking at Ebay for spoilers and seeing them with the seal in there for $300 so may just buy one and swap out whole assembly. My truck is like 6 mo out of warranty and Ford won't pay for it is my guess.....even though they admit the gap tolerance is too small and caused this. The workshop manual question is for what torque spec I put on the bolts that affix to the glass and in which pattern you put tighten. Any help is appreciated.
