I have a 2009 expedition lmtd with a 5.4 At low rpms it almost stalls out.any insight?

Check the air filter. Clean the MAF. Clean the throttle body. Check the Throttle Position (TP) sensor and Electronic Throttle Control (ETC) electrical connectors. Check for vacuum leaks. Check the fuel pump.

It sounds like a throttle body problem. Air filter won't act like that and the fuel pump will show up at higher rpms also if bad.
