starts hard after warm

03' starts great cold. Drive for any period of time over 15 minutes and After you stop shut off motor, you turn over key and it cranks for long period. You let off key then restart and it starts. motor kind of chugs a little then rpms shoot right up and runs great. Thought it might be fuel pump not holding pressure but it starts great cold. What do you think it might be??

could be a coolant sensor is stuck on cold all the time and when the truck is hot it over fuels it. just someting to think about

Did you ever figure out what was causing this? My '03 5.4 is doing the EXACT same thing. If you found it, please post so I can try the same.

I've got the same problem, I have swapped out the fuel pump,filter , plugs , coils , mass air and air filter.. Other the that it runs great..

Check or swap the fuel pump relay after it has been running and won't start.
