Hello! I am new to the forum, and new to the Expedition. My wife and I just picked up our 08 XLT and love every inch of it!
We ordered one through a local dealership and decided to go with the XLT instead of the Limited because of 1. cost, and 2. we didn’t want leather… I am bummed that the XLT doesn’t have any radio controls on the steering wheel! My question to you guys is,
Has anyone installed a steering wheel control from a Limited to a XLT? Is the wiring there? Is my 6 disc the same as the 6 disc radio in the Limiteds? I searched a round the forums and didn’t find anything pertaining to the 07-08’s.
I did the swap in our 03 Escape, and it was pretty much plug and play. I am hoping the Expedition is the same!
Hope to post some photos soon here, but until then let me know what you guys have heard/tried!
