I have an 02 EB with the mach system. The 25 amp audio fuse in slot 1 blows as soon as the connectors touch, even if the car is off. Anyone have this problem? If its a bad head unit, its not covered under my warranty, if its wiring it is, but the dealership here wanted 180 just to look at and diagnose the problem. I told them to pack sand and I'll look at it myself. Suggestions/ideas/anything? Should I take it to an audio place and have them just install a new head unit and speakers and if it doesnt blame it on them? At least I'll know if it was the head unit or not, lol!
